📋 Description

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and follow-up appointments via telehealth. • Provide medication management, including prescribing and monitoring psychiatric medications. • Establish, implement, and manage individualized treatment plans and referrals. • Order and interpret diagnostic studies as appropriate. • Provide timely, professional, and person-centered care while minimizing wait times. • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation within the electronic health record system. • Utilize electronic prescribing systems for medication management. • Collaborate with medical providers, therapists, case managers, and other treatment professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care. • Engage individuals served in treatment planning, education regarding medications and side effects, and ongoing follow-up care. • Refer individuals for additional services or higher levels of care when clinically appropriate. • Maintain clear and consistent communication with IMPOWER medical, clinical, and administrative staff. • Adhere to ethical standards, professional guidelines, credentialing requirements, and organizational policies. • Meet productivity expectations established by IMPOWER.

🎯 Requirements

• Active Florida Physician Assistant license required. • Current NPI, and DEA registration required. • Approved Psychiatry residency preferred. • Psychiatric specialty experience preferred. • Experience providing psychiatric evaluations, treatment, and medication management. • Strong clinical assessment, communication, documentation, and telehealth skills. • Successfully complete and maintain all required pre-employment and ongoing screenings, including a Level II background screening, local law checks, and drug screening, in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements and IMPOWER policy.
