📋 Description

• Contribute to the growth of Isaacson, Miller, a national retained executive search firm specializing in leadership recruitment in the civic sector • Support Partners who build client relationships, develop business, and ensure successful completion of searches • Carry several search projects simultaneously across healthcare, academic medicine, and health sciences • Scope positions with clients through site visits or meetings and gather information about roles, organizational challenges, and ambitions • Write, edit, and proofread position descriptions • Conduct exhaustive research and develop diverse candidate pools using the firm’s proprietary database • Develop and implement networking strategies with Partners • Recruit and screen candidates through phone and email communications • Evaluate candidate credentials, credibility, accomplishments, and organizational fit through research and interviews • Maintain positive relationships with clients, candidates, and sources • Present candidate pools in in-person and virtual client meetings • Draft memos and supplemental documents and ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency • Manage candidate, source, and client information in the firm’s database • Brief Partners on search progress, market feedback, and candidate situations • Oversee the flow of candidate information to clients alongside Search Coordinators • Conduct candidate references and manage due diligence, timelines, and client presentations

🎯 Requirements

• Understanding of healthcare and the organizational dynamics and challenges of hospitals and healthcare systems today • Commitment to service excellence, equity, diversity, and inclusion • Cultural competence to work effectively across multiple lines of difference • Bachelor’s degree • Two to eight years of progressively responsible professional experience • Exceptional written and oral communication skills • Maturity and discretion in maintaining strong relationships, often involving confidentiality • Ability to build rapport with people at all levels of an organization • Ability to extract and persuasively articulate client organizations’ ambitions and challenges • Ability to evaluate candidates’ accomplishments, credibility, and organizational fit using evidence-based assessment • Ability to take initiative and work independently while knowing when to ask for guidance • Excellent time management and ability to juggle competing priorities and meet deadlines • Conscientiousness in producing high-quality, detailed work • Collegial and collaborative nature • Intellectual curiosity and commitment to continuous learning and professional development • Relational talent and an engaging personality • Honesty, openness, and a healthy sense of humor
