📋 Description

• Serve as the single-threaded owner combining senior Product Lead and GM responsibilities • Report through Product with a business-wide mandate • Own the initiative end-to-end across customer experience, technology, and economics • Be accountable for outcomes across Product, Engineering, AI/Data, Compliance, Operations, Partnerships, and Finance • Lead a small, senior, cross-functional pod to prove or disprove the thesis in 90 days • Build an evaluation framework for complete and correct license and permit identification across states, counties, cities, industries, and complexity levels • Establish the AI extraction, ML classification and confidence, deterministic rules, human review, labeled feedback, and continuous-improvement operating loop • Own the build-versus-buy and unit-economic model, including AI research costs, human-review rates, filing, renewal, and recurring-subscription economics • Validate demand across Bizee.com, Bizee Pro, Partner APIs, and agent-ready workflows • Turn evidence into product, pricing, packaging, and sequencing recommendations • Scale the business after the initial 90-day mission, with a path toward GM, Compliance • Own customer discovery, market opportunity, product strategy, pricing and packaging, unit economics, build-versus-buy, distribution strategy, and the Phase 0 investment case • Design a conversational discovery experience capturing business context for accurate compliance determination • Convert historical license orders and completed reports into a labeled evaluation set, training data, and seed of a compliance graph • Define the regulatory operating model, including accuracy thresholds, liability framework, and human-review requirements • Own the Phase 0 pod and its combined output

🎯 Requirements

• Experience building or scaling a zero-to-one product, business, regulated workflow, fintech product, legaltech product, vertical SaaS platform, or similarly complex operating system • End-to-end ownership of outcomes • Zero-to-one judgment: turning ambiguity into hypotheses, experiments, evidence, decisions, and products • Understanding of customers, pricing, packaging, unit economics, distribution, and P&L • AI fluency, including evaluation, precision and recall, confidence thresholds, feedback loops, labeled data, human-in-the-loop systems, and model economics • Analytical depth: establishing baselines, designing experiments, challenging assumptions, and making decisions from imperfect evidence • Operational rigor across software, data, humans, customers, and regulatory controls • Comfort with regulated complexity and edge cases • Bias for action • High standards and low ego • Direct compliance or licensing domain experience is ideal, but not required • A formal MBA or CS degree is not necessarily required • Years of experience are not a stated requirement
