📋 Description

• Report to the Supervisor, Claims • Investigate, evaluate, and settle insurance claims • Determine policy coverage for claimed losses and appropriate compensation amounts • Work closely with veterinary hospitals and policyholders to evaluate and review pets’ medical histories to determine a baseline of health • Investigate and process assigned insurance claims • Verify coverage and compensation amounts according to insurance policies • Update Explanation of Benefits (EOB), pay, and close claims • Order medical records from providers as needed • Communicate with clients and providers during treatment as needed • Perform other assigned duties and responsibilities

🎯 Requirements

• 1 year relevant experience working in a veterinary clinic • Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience (one-year relevant experience is equivalent to one year college), or Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT), or Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) • Must have flexible availability as the department is open 24 hours a day and 7 days a week • Only United States residents will be considered for this role
