⢠Lead comprehensive research coverage of the global data center market, including infrastructure, hardware, software, and emerging technologies ⢠Contribute to, develop, and maintain market forecasts, sizing models, trackers, and competitive landscape analyses ⢠Identify and analyze trends including hyperscale deployments, edge computing, sustainability initiatives, and AI infrastructure requirements ⢠Create high-quality reports, trackers, forecasts, and presentations with the Data Center team ⢠Develop and test hypotheses that challenge existing market beliefs ⢠Present research at industry conferences, client briefings, and webinars ⢠Provide expert commentary to media and industry publications ⢠Deliver strategic consulting and advisory services on data center investment decisions, technology roadmaps, and market opportunities ⢠Build and maintain client relationships and become a trusted advisor ⢠Represent Omdia and Informa TechTarget in client-facing meetings ⢠Support sales, marketing, product management, and PR teams ⢠Contribute to planning meetings and work with the Practice Leader and Research Directors on team direction and strategy ⢠Develop customer-based perspectives for new products and advisory services
đŻ Requirements
⢠Over 10 years of professional experience ⢠Experience in the data center ecosystem as an industry analyst or in the wider ecosystem ⢠Solid technical understanding of the data center ecosystem ⢠Ability to form credible, distinctive, compelling, and original opinions on market evolution ⢠Quantitative research experience ⢠Ability to build, maintain, and enhance market forecasts and trackers ⢠Ability to present complex concepts and trends from data compellingly ⢠Excellent written communication skills and ability to synthesize complex ideas ⢠Strong verbal communication and presentation skills ⢠Confidence engaging with and influencing senior industry executives ⢠Ability to build and enhance a profile with industry contacts and opinion formers ⢠Existing network of industry contacts highly favorable ⢠Ability to identify and communicate critical issues impacting clients' commercial performance ⢠Experience working with sales and marketing teams on business development opportunities ⢠Proven ability to manage workload, meet deadlines, and exceed client expectations ⢠Ability to travel domestically and internationally ⢠Cultural awareness for global clients and a global virtual team environment
