📋 Description

• Direct the estimating department and establish technical standards and procedures • Oversee training and staffing of the estimating department • Supervise and maintain accountability for Stop Gate estimating processes • Enforce company policies and procedures specific to Human Resources guidelines • Assess estimating personnel regarding qualifications, performance, and compensation evaluations • Promote InPwr core values and collaborative relationships with Project Management, General Superintendents, Project Coordination, Human Resources, Engineering, and Design • Communicate and collaborate with customers regarding RFPs and bid proposal processes • Manage customer expectations regarding bid deadlines and proposal deliverables • Review bid proposal documents for follow-up RFIs and general questions • Negotiate with manufacturers, distributors, and subcontractors • Execute bid proposal follow-up strategies and communicate bid results • Execute estimating processes and personnel management • Strategize new bid opportunities with Business Development, project managers, account managers, and preconstruction support • Lead new bid estimate strategy planning sessions • Implement and maintain quality control of the Stop Gate 1 process • Assign estimating tasks based on personnel experience and aptitude • Develop and monitor preliminary and final InPwr scope price proposals • Supervise customer bid documentation, including RFPs, construction drawings, specifications, and supplemental vendor documentation • Supervise subcontractor and vendor quotations and preliminary submittals • Oversee Authority Having Jurisdiction, local utility, state, local, and NEC-related requirements • Review and analyze estimates and project deliverables • Provide or perform control takeoff estimates and change order budget pricing with project managers • Update bid tracking documentation weekly • Update senior leadership weekly on current bid project status • Update information weekly for the global Confidential List

🎯 Requirements

• (10) Years of electrical industry estimating experience • Possess at minimum (1) Master's electrical license • Effectively communicating interdepartmental coordination of project deliverables • Electrical Industry Expertise and General Knowledge • Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code and electrical theory • Proficient skills in reading construction drawings, specifications, electrical submittals • Extensive experience in layout of electrical equipment and systems • Expertise in design and engineering concepts specifically diagrammatic one lines, load calculations, feeder and branch circuit analysis • Proficiency with Microsoft Office • Proficiency with Accubid • Experience with construction document and review processes • Must not now or in the future require sponsorship for employment visa status • Must pass drug & alcohol screening, E-verify, driving record, and background check
