📋 Description

• Work with prospective medical school candidates to identify profile-building opportunities and draft compelling application documents • Manage relationships with applicants and families, providing strategic and tactical guidance on medical school selection, essays, resumes, recommendations, interviews, and the admissions process • Identify optimal medical programs and schools for individual students and provide guidance on university-program research and admissions resources • Support project planning, application timeline management, and progress tracking through internal organizational tools • Stay current on medical school admissions processes and programs to advise clients on school selection and application nuances

🎯 Requirements

• Admissions Committee Experience: Have served on a medical school admissions committee or admissions board with experience reviewing applications and making acceptance and rejection decisions • Completed an MD or DO degree • 5–7 years of experience in education, coaching, tutoring, and/or medical school admissions consulting • A passion for coaching • Strong planning and organizational skills • Strong English reading, writing, and editing skills, particularly for medical school essays and personal statements • Strong verbal communication skills • Expertise in project management and applicant tracking
