📋 Description

• Manage a caseload of plaintiff-side property insurance litigation matters from inception through resolution • Communicate directly with clients regarding strategy, case developments, and settlement opportunities • Draft complaints, motions, discovery requests and responses, and legal briefs • Take and defend depositions • Attend hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences • Work closely with experienced attorneys while maintaining ownership of your cases • Litigate matters in Illinois state and federal courts

🎯 Requirements

• Missouri law license in good standing • At least one year of civil litigation experience • Experience with discovery, motion practice, and depositions • Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills • Excellent communication and client-service abilities • Self-motivated attorney who thrives in a fast-paced plaintiff litigation environment • Experience in property insurance litigation is preferred • Licensed in Kansas is a huge plus, but not required
