• Conduct vulnerability research using a range of approaches and techniques • Develop proof-of-concept exploits for vulnerabilities found • Bypass modern exploit mitigations • Focus on a preferred target set within an established platform team, including Android, iOS, Browsers, Hypervisors, or Embedded Systems • Reason through complex topics to choose approaches, identify impactful vulnerabilities, analyze root causes, and develop proof-of-concepts • Share knowledge and findings with the wider VRED team • Participate in and run workshops and other team activities • Collaborate both independently and with the team
• Experience in one or more of vulnerability research, reverse engineering, and exploit development • Ability to reason through complex topics, choose an approach, find impactful vulnerabilities, analyze root causes, and develop proof-of-concepts • Interest and passion for learning new things, taking things apart, and tackling new problems and challenges • Ability to work both independently and highly collaboratively • Must be a permanent resident and currently based in the USA • No formal education or certifications required
