📋 Description

• Create models and/or drawing sets using Interstates’ established standards • Collaborate with others to learn best practices and incorporate design decisions into deliverables • Create deliverable sets based on direction from others • Research and leverage mentorship and available resources to learn tool functionality • Continuously improve methods and efficiency through collaboration • Modify models, data, or drawing sets based on direction • Communicate using virtual and in-person collaboration tools with internal and external teams • Apply model and scope changes by adjusting deliverables as required • Document and archive revisions according to established procedures • Follow project workflows and agreed-upon standards to meet deliverable requirements and schedules • Perform self-checks to identify and correct major errors and deviations from best practices • Assist in peer reviewing others’ work for compliance with established standards • Self-perform advanced design tasks with direction • Provide continuous improvement suggestions for tools and processes • Work directly with manufacturing and construction teams to deliver constructable design

🎯 Requirements

• A high school diploma or an applicable associate degree (A.A., A.S.) from a two-year community college or technical college is required • A combination of relevant education and hands-on experience will also be considered in place of formal education requirements • Foundational experience with virtual modeling software, construction documentation, or technical design applications supporting virtual design and construction processes • Travel as needed, not exceeding 15% • Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions
