📋 Description

• Pursue spiritual maturity through Scripture, prayer, worship, self-leadership, and Scriptural standards for behavior and attitudes • Communicate and model InterVarsity’s vision for student and faculty transformation, campus renewal, and developing world changers • Create a culture of dependence on God and expectation for starting witnessing communities • Lead students and faculty through Scripture, prayer, teaching, and discipleship experiences • Set annual qualitative and quantitative growth goals, including conversions and leadership development • Build spiritually vital, relationally healthy, and mission-aligned leadership teams • Develop, execute, evaluate, and modify ministry plans to achieve annual goals • Align programs, structures, conferences, and teams around ministry goals • Mobilize students and faculty to engage their networks with the gospel and start new missional communities • Supervise Ministry Interns and Campus Ministry Interns as delegated by the Area Director • Gather, invite, disciple, coach, and equip diverse students and faculty as ministry participants and leaders • Create opportunities for students and faculty to encounter and follow Jesus through Scripture, worship, prayer, mission experiences, and conferences • Equip students and faculty to proclaim the good news of Jesus and invite others to follow him • Collaborate with local, area, regional, and national InterVarsity staff and volunteers • Respond to supervisor and national leader direction and coaching • Participate in team meetings and relationships • Affiliate chapters and submit Graduating Student Forms • Use national ministry resources and tools and recruit for or participate in conferences • Complete reporting, planning, and review requirements • Comply with InterVarsity policies, procedures, and Ministry Partnership Policies • Raise 100% of the assigned financial budget through personal fundraising • Communicate regularly with ministry partners through visits, calls, emails, and prayer letters • Develop long-term partnerships with alumni, volunteers, churches, individuals, and community members • Identify and invest in advocates who build volunteer and donor networks • Accomplish other assigned tasks as appropriate

🎯 Requirements

• Annually affirm InterVarsity’s Statement of Agreement (Doctrinal Basis and Purpose Statement) • Abide by InterVarsity’s Code of Conduct • Believe and behave consonantly with InterVarsity’s Human Sexuality Theological Paper • Affirm and behave consonantly with InterVarsity’s “Women in Ministry Statement of Affirmation” • Bachelor’s degree required for CSMs assigned to a four-year campus • Minimum of an Associate’s degree required for CSMs assigned to a two-year campus or community college • Strong interpersonal skills, including ability to minister to diverse ethnic communities and faculty • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Demonstrated problem solving skills • Familiarity with word processing, presentation, email, and spreadsheet software • Ability to travel to on-campus and off-campus sites as appropriate • Full-time availability, 40 hours per week • Candidates must agree with InterVarsity’s Statement of Agreement: Purpose and Doctrinal Basis
