• Install, support, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Intuitive products within the assigned territory • Ensure service agreements and warranty obligations are met and exceeded • Provide technical support to end-users and Intuitive employees • Conduct training sessions at Intuitive facilities, training centers, and hospitals • Perform system inspections, preventive maintenance, software updates, recalls, field actions, and upgrades • Diagnose and repair products and associated equipment according to procedures and timeframes • Coordinate and perform system and hardware delivery and installation • Document service activities, maintain records, and provide reports to stakeholders • Provide management with quarterly reviews and assessments of the assigned area • Complete administrative tasks, including spare parts inventory, Field Activity Reports, Return Material Authorizations, and Expense Reports • Maintain company-owned assets and issued equipment • Collaborate with Sales, Genesis, and other Intuitive teams on trade shows, sterile reprocessing training, hospital contacts, and company goals • Provide headquarters feedback and participate in continuous improvement projects • Manage customer needs, system install-base configurations, customer contacts, customer relationships, training, and events within the assigned territory
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders • Ability to identify, analyze, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues efficiently • Strong time management and prioritization skills; ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple assignments • Ability to travel up to 75% • Willingness to perform ad hoc tasks assigned by management • Reside typically within 30 miles of the assigned territory or designated area • Ability to work flex, second, or other shifts as required • Ability to lift 75 lbs. and move wheeled objects up to 1,200 lbs. • Clean driving record • Ability to obtain and maintain Vendor Credentialing approval for operating-room access • Compliance with vaccination requirements mandated by vendor credentialing • Proven troubleshooting experience with electro-mechanical systems • Good written and oral communication skills • General computer skills • Comfort working off hours with limited support • Excellent administrative and record-keeping skills • Minimum 5+ years of Field Service Experience preferred • Minimum Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent training/experience preferred • Competent knowledge and implementation of O.R. protocol and HIPAA standards • Willingness and ability to complete required equipment, university, and professional-development training • Candidates may be subject to U.S. export-control screening, licensing, or a Technology Control Plan
