📋 Description

• Challenge advanced language models on viral transmission dynamics and related public-health topics • Document model failure modes to harden reasoning • Converse with models about real-world viral transmission scenarios and theoretical questions • Verify factual accuracy and logical soundness of model responses • Capture reproducible error traces • Suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics • Help create high-quality training data for AI supporting education, infectious disease control, and global public health

🎯 Requirements

• Expertise in viral transmission dynamics, epidemiology, host-pathogen interactions, environmental factors, vector biology, infection control, and outbreak investigation • Knowledge of modes of viral spread, reproductive numbers (R₀), superspreading events, viral shedding, aerosol and contact transmission, prevention strategies, and modeling transmission patterns • Ability to converse with advanced language models on real-world viral transmission scenarios and theoretical questions • Ability to verify factual accuracy and logical soundness • Ability to capture reproducible error traces • Ability to suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics • Clear, metacognitive communication (“showing your work”) • A PhD in virology, epidemiology, microbiology, public health, or a closely related life-science field is ideal • Peer-reviewed publications, applied research on viral transmission, or experience in outbreak response and infection prevention signal fit • Secure computer and high-speed internet • Geographic location affects final offer amount
