📋 Description

• Support the launch and ongoing growth of Ionis’s first wholly owned commercial product within the assigned territory • Engage key customers and accounts, identify opportunities to improve patient care, and build partnerships across the healthcare ecosystem • Build, maintain, and leverage local healthcare-system networks and relationships • Develop and execute effective business plans to meet customer and Ionis goals • Educate HCPs and office staff about sHTG disease awareness, diagnostic pathways, and treatment priorities • Provide value-added resources and HCP/patient support materials and programs • Participate in conferences, congresses, and scientific meetings • Gather account insights and provide feedback to field leadership and marketing • Understand local referral networks and identify, validate, and document potential HCPs • Execute brand strategic plans and develop customer-focused territory account plans • Develop tactics for hospital- and office-based Endocrinologists, Cardiologists, PCPs, and other relevant specialties • Participate in field meetings and training programs • Complete label certification, compliance training, and customer engagement policy training • Collaborate with cross-functional teammates and share customer-engagement learnings • Use available platforms and technology to engage customers through multiple channels • Partner on accounts involving patients seen by multiple specialties across geographies

🎯 Requirements

• Valid U.S. driver’s license and driving record in compliance with company standards • Bachelor’s Degree • 5+ years of experience in Pharma sales • Experience in new product launches • Experience with account-based selling • HCP and IDN engagement experience • Cross-functional field team coordination experience • Prior experience independently managing a sales territory • Background in cardiology, endocrinology, and other sub-specialties that treat FCS patients • Injectable experience preferred • Familiarity with treating cardiometabolic and lipid-related diseases such as severe hypertriglyceridemia (sHTG) • Established relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and major accounts • Ability to analyze market data and develop territory strategies • Record of navigating complex accounts and aligning solutions with patient needs • Strong clinical knowledge and commitment to addressing patient needs
