• Partner directly with the VP to develop, refine, and operationalize the global procurement strategy across data center categories and regions • Translate strategic priorities into structured plans, frameworks, and roadmaps for regional and category teams • Track strategic initiatives and flag risks, gaps, or resourcing needs to leadership • Support procurement processes, governance, and tools as IREN enters new markets and expands its data center footprint • Coordinate new-market readiness activities, including supplier landscape assessment, category strategy input, and process standardization • Identify regional divergence and drive alignment toward a consistent global operating model • Research and synthesize market conditions, supplier capacity, competitive benchmarks, and category trends • Build business cases, cost/benefit analyses, and comparative assessments for sourcing and strategic decisions • Monitor spend, savings, and pipeline data across regions to identify trends, risks, and opportunities • Prepare board- and leadership-ready materials, briefing documents, and presentations for the VP • Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reporting on global procurement KPIs, category performance, and strategic initiatives • Represent the VP's office in selected cross-functional forums and ensure follow-through on action items • Connect global strategy with regional and category execution teams • Partner with Finance, Legal, HSE, and Technical teams to align procurement strategy with business and project timelines • Support QBRs, leadership reviews, and strategy check-ins across geographies • Standardize procurement strategy templates, planning tools, and reporting frameworks • Identify opportunities to use automation, AI-enabled tools, and data visualization • Contribute to institutional knowledge and best practices as teams and regions expand
• 5–8 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, management consulting, or a related strategy/analytics role • Demonstrated experience supporting senior leadership with strategic planning, business cases, or executive-level reporting • Strong analytical and financial acumen • Ability to translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Experience building executive-facing presentations and materials • Comfort operating with ambiguity in a fast-paced, high-growth, evolving environment • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience • Experience in construction, infrastructure, energy, or data center/mission-critical environments preferred • Exposure to global or multi-region procurement, sourcing, or operations preferred • Familiarity with ERP/procurement systems such as Coupa, SAP Ariba, or Oracle preferred • Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau preferred • Experience supporting capital projects, multi-site expansions, or new-market entry preferred • Background in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or a chief-of-staff-style function preferred • Must be authorized to work in the United States
