• Support health policy-related research projects conducted by investigators at LDI and the Division of General Internal Medicine • Use SAS and/or STATA programming skills to create analytical datasets from clinical trials, surveys, and health care claims • Construct and standardize outcome measures and other analytical variables through data cleaning and data manipulation • Provide descriptive and analytical reports and perform specialized statistical analyses • Collaborate on projects requiring teamwork and support multiple individual projects
• Statistical Analyst A: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Math/Statistics, Healthcare Management, Economics, or Public Health and 3 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required • Statistical Analyst B: Minimum of a Master’s degree in Math/Statistics, Healthcare Management, Economics or Public Health and at least 3 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required • Strong statistical programming skills in SAS and/or STATA required (strong expert level for B) • Experience in applying health services research methods through SAS or STATA programming is required • Prior work experience in academic or research setting in health care is preferred • Prior experience with analyzing clinical trials is preferred
