📋 Description

• Traveling to customer sites to perform verification, preventative maintenance, repair, and installation services on Instron’s products • Working from home, out of the Wilmington/Newark, DE area • Regional responsibility in the greater Wilmington and Newark DE area • Occasional travel to other locations in the US may be required, and as much as 30% overnight travel

🎯 Requirements

• Two or four-year technical degree from an accredited university • Knowledge of electro–mechanical systems • Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret basic technical information • Must be able to interpret blueprints and schematics • Familiarity with PC’s including operating systems and Windows applications • High level of autonomy • Superior organizational and time management skills • Customer service skills • Prior field service experience strongly preferred • Automation systems experience is a plus • Experience performing preventative or corrective maintenance on servo hydraulic systems preferred • Experience with materials testing preferred but not required • Experience delivering hands-on and classroom training on topics technical in nature preferred • Must be able to pass security background checks to gain access to US Government and military facilities
