📋 Description

• Manage complex BOMs, ideally in hardware, rack integration, or systems-level environments (L11/L12). • Own and execute Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and Engineering Change Requests (ECRs). • Collaborate closely with Solutions Architects and Factory Product Engineers to ensure accurate BOMs are enabled for MRP. • Act as the primary source and gatekeeper for released product data, preventing uncontrolled changes, or data misalignment. • Partner with mechanical, electrical, and integration engineers to ensure alignment between designs, BOMs, and documentation release. • Support rapid execution of engineering changes without compromising configuration integrity or audit readiness. • Define and enforce naming conventions, numbering schemes, and classification rules. • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) programs and scaling processes across multiple concurrent builds. • Initiate change notices to release new BOMs and BOM changes to the appropriate factory. • Lead the design and deployment of a centralized, cross-functional database to standardize, manage, and track Jabil’s L11 hardware and supplier ecosystem across the Intelligent Infrastructure organization.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field is required • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in PLM systems, configuration management, release worklogs, and engineering change processes in complex engineering environments • Deep working knowledge of PLM tools (i.e. Windchill, Agile, SAP) • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills – a must • Strong understanding of Excel, automation, BOM, mechanical systems, lifecycle management, and program management • Strong attention to data accuracy, version control, and traceability • Familiar with stage-gate processes in project lifecycle management (PLCM) • Familiarity with configuration challenges associated with product variants, options, and regional differences.
