📋 Description

• Lead MEP design teams for both greenfield and retrofit data center projects • Define HVAC technical requirements and coordinate with plumbing, electrical, and fire protection teams • Develop and refine office design standards for the Data Center and Mission Critical sectors • Collaborate across disciplines to create integrated technical solutions • Coordinate with Energy Modeling teams to optimize for energy efficiency and carbon reduction while maintaining 7x24 reliability • Provide technical guidance to internal and third-party commissioning teams • Represent JB&B at industry events, conferences, and seminars to build brand recognition • Travel to client and project sites across the U.S.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent practical experience • 10 years of experience in facility design and construction environments • Experience in design, construction, and commissioning of data center HVAC, standby generation and associated fuel oil systems • Experience with Revit • Professional Engineering (PE) license, preferred • Experience with Chiller, Cooling Towers, AHU, Heat Pumps and Generator designs • Experience with energy modeling • Experience process water flushing and treatment. • Experience with Building Controls Systems • Understanding of ASHRAE 90.1,90.4 and TC 9.9 publications
