JHU EEHPC is the Energy Efficient High Performance Computing Lab at Johns Hopkins University, led by Tinoosh Mohsenin. The lab focuses on designing medical, health, and wearable devices and developing tiny, energy-efficient wearable and mobile computing systems through cross-layer approaches spanning algorithms, architecture, hardware, and system integration. It applies high-performance computing and artificial intelligence methods to smart health monitoring, robotics, autonomous navigation, and related domains, aiming to revolutionize healthcare, transportation, and public utilities.

📋 Description

• Provide customer service for support requests • Assist in application testing • Review and update technical and customer documentation • Participate in project ceremonies • Support development, implementation, and integration of AI solutions • Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other team members • Utilize basic knowledge of computer systems, applications, and interfaces • Gather data and devise simple solutions • Design simple benchmarking metrics to assess system, application, or database performance • Maintain attention to detail in data gathering, specifications development, documentation, and record keeping • Work under direct supervision in support of team initiatives • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or graduation equivalent • Some college • Some experience • Additional education may substitute for required experience • Additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond a high school diploma/graduation equivalent, subject to the JHU equivalency formula • Proficient in MS applications • Exposure to object-oriented programming languages such as Java or C# • Experience with generative AI solutions such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot • Successful candidate subject to a pre-employment background check
