JHU EEHPC is the Energy Efficient High Performance Computing Lab at Johns Hopkins University, led by Tinoosh Mohsenin. The lab focuses on designing medical, health, and wearable devices and developing tiny, energy-efficient wearable and mobile computing systems through cross-layer approaches spanning algorithms, architecture, hardware, and system integration. It applies high-performance computing and artificial intelligence methods to smart health monitoring, robotics, autonomous navigation, and related domains, aiming to revolutionize healthcare, transportation, and public utilities.

📋 Description

• Identify research initiatives and inquiries to advance and assess faculty research priorities • Lead research initiatives, including data management activities, program evaluation, and internal and external reporting • Contribute to reports to funders, manuscripts for publication, and presentations for internal and professional meetings • Provide and/or contribute to mentoring and training efforts • Consult with and advise faculty and leadership on systems, policies, and practices supporting research success • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s Degree in a related field • Five years of related experience in the research focus area • Additional education may substitute for required experience • Additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond a high school diploma/graduation equivalent, subject to the JHU equivalency formula • Authorship on articles published in peer-reviewed journals preferred • Experience writing manuscripts and grants preferred • Intermediate data management and analysis skills • Intermediate interpersonal skills • Intermediate oral and written communication skills • Intermediate program evaluation skills • Intermediate research consultation skills • Intermediate research strategy skills • Intermediate resource technical strategy skills • Intermediate resource management skills • Successful candidates are subject to a pre-employment background check • Applicants must receive the seasonal flu vaccine unless granted a religious or medical exception
