JHU EEHPC is the Energy Efficient High Performance Computing Lab at Johns Hopkins University, led by Tinoosh Mohsenin. The lab focuses on designing medical, health, and wearable devices and developing tiny, energy-efficient wearable and mobile computing systems through cross-layer approaches spanning algorithms, architecture, hardware, and system integration. It applies high-performance computing and artificial intelligence methods to smart health monitoring, robotics, autonomous navigation, and related domains, aiming to revolutionize healthcare, transportation, and public utilities.

📋 Description

• Support the conduct of research projects • Collect and organize data through study-specific procedures, including community outreach, data collection, sample collection, laboratory work, and/or field work • Provide administrative support for meetings, events, communications, and reporting • Support the Lipitz Center team on health services research projects and health policy activities • Assist in developing operational plans to meet research goals • Set up tools and procedures for data collection and study processes • Collect and organize data through participant interviews, questionnaires, background research, and laboratory processing • Process data by organizing data records and study files • Run basic analyses and prepare routine reports • Perform literature searches, abstract data, and index gathered data • Support qualitative data collection and analysis for health services research • Collect Medicaid policies, assist with data cleaning and dataset checking, and conduct literature reviews of Medicaid HCBS policies • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or graduation equivalent • One year of related experience • Additional education may substitute for required experience under the JHU equivalency formula • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred • Awareness of administrative skills • Awareness of analytical skills • Awareness of data entry • Awareness of data management and analysis • Awareness of information gathering • Awareness of interpersonal skills • Awareness of oral and written communications • Awareness of organizational skills • Awareness of research and analytical skills • Successful candidates subject to a pre-employment background check • Seasonal flu vaccination required, subject to religious or medical exceptions
