📋 Description

• Develop and maintain the Tech Labs standard O&M playbook for maintenance and operations in labs, cleanrooms, and critical research environments • Provide and maintain tech lab-specific documentation, SOPs, guidance, and training materials • Run structured due-diligence engagements on individual accounts to capture operating models and identify gaps • Align the playbook with industry standards and maintain compliance • Finalize, obtain approval for, formally release, and update the operating standard as equipment, codes, and guidance evolve • Own the Tech Labs assurance program by extending JCAP with tech lab-specific questions and guidance • Partner with the Vertical Engineering Lead for Tech Labs to ensure standards are deployable • Maintain relationships with engineering SMEs, Technology account teams, and divisional leadership • Develop training content for the Tech Labs Operations and Maintenance standard and assurance program • Train teams on the playbook, JCAP questions, and updates • Follow change management processes and ensure standards are applied across accounts • Support lab-space incident management, including investigations, root cause analysis, trend identification, and reporting to the Senior Director • Coordinate with Engineering Operations, Quality & Compliance, and HSSE on statutory compliance and equipment testing protocols • Assist with client-facing technical consultations on lab-space performance and reliability

🎯 Requirements

• Significant experience (15+ years) in critical environment, tech lab, engineering, or standards/compliance leadership • Demonstrated track record of writing and maintaining operational standards or SOPs used by technicians in the field • Experience designing, running, or supporting an assurance, audit, compliance, or standards-implementation program • Ability to work across many accounts and reconcile a single global standard against local variation • Excellent technical writing and stakeholder communication skills • Hands-on experience with technology lab environments, environmental controls, or similar critical infrastructure • Cross-functional coordination experience within a large, matrixed organization • Strong analytical and program management skills • Strong technical/engineering understanding of critical environments and lab systems • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related technical field • Deep technical grounding in mechanical, electrical, HVAC, cleanroom, and life-safety disciplines • Experience with regulatory compliance frameworks and industry standards relevant to technology labs or critical facilities • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred • Experience in the technology sector preferred • Familiarity with Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) frameworks and failure mode analysis preferred • Prior experience standing up a standards or assurance function from scratch preferred • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
