📋 Description

• Conduct residential home inspections across Army installations throughout the United States, Asia, and Europe • Perform residential home inspections using proprietary reporting software on a tablet or mobile electronic device • Conduct interior and exterior visual evaluations in accordance with project-specific inspection criteria • Assess property deficiencies including site conditions, building materials, structural components, and health and safety concerns • Evaluate building systems and equipment for age, condition, and functionality • Capture and document photographic evidence of equipment tags, building features, and inspection observations • Communicate professionally with on-site managers, tenants, and project stakeholders • Travel extensively to Army installations, including multi-week assignments by car and occasionally by air • Support public sector organizations in optimizing and managing real property assets through property assessments and reporting

🎯 Requirements

• InterNACHI Certified Home Inspector or Licensed Home Inspector in one or more of: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, or Washington • Working knowledge of current building codes and their applicability to residential home inspections • United States citizenship required • Ability to pass Army military base security vetting, background check, and drug screening • Valid Real ID driver’s license • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to effectively use a tablet or iPad in the field for inspection reporting • Minimum of two years of experience performing residential home inspections • Experience conducting inspections within government, military, or institutional environments • Familiarity with identifying structural, safety, and environmental deficiencies in residential properties • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage inspections independently while supporting a larger project team • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and travel schedules • Experience documenting findings through detailed written reports and photography • Comfortable working in a physically active environment including climbing ladders, entering confined spaces, and standing for extended periods • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
