📋 Description

• Develop and implement a scientific engagement plan aligned with Medical Affairs strategy and medical objectives • Cultivate professional relationships with community and academic opinion leaders/KOLs • Conduct two-way scientific exchange with healthcare professionals • Collect, synthesize, and apply clinical, scientific, competitive, and territory information • Provide product and technical assistance and educational training during clinical product insertion, removal, and related procedures • Use AI tools and insights to improve decision-making, processes, efficiency, and outcomes • Deliver tailored scientific data through dialogue and presentations • Identify unmet needs and propose evidence-based solutions or educational initiatives • Submit timely, high-quality actionable insights to inform medical strategy and cross-functional discussions • Respond to unsolicited inquiries about J&J products and research • Support company-sponsored and investigator-initiated studies • Collaborate with MSL field partners, R&D, U.S. and Global Medical Affairs, Clinical Operations, Sales, and Marketing • Maintain scientific acumen through self-reading, journal clubs, seminars, congresses, and peer discussions • Foster inclusion and belonging • Maintain competence in regulatory, healthcare compliance, corporate conduct, and Medical Affairs policies • Develop performance and development plans with the Field Director • Complete administrative documentation and expense reporting accurately and compliantly

🎯 Requirements

• Doctorate-level degree or equivalent experience required, including PharmD, PhD, MD, or Advanced Practice Provider qualification • In-depth scientific and/or therapeutic knowledge • Research and/or healthcare system knowledge • Proficiency in data gathering and analysis • Clinical expertise and problem solving • Interpersonal influence and cross-functional collaboration • Strategic thinking and competitive landscape analysis • Ability to support a territory with up to 70% travel • Valid US Driver's License required • Commitment to learning and applying emerging technologies such as AI • 2+ years of relevant experience preferred, preferably in an MSL role • 2+ years of therapeutic-area experience preferred • Residency/fellowship preferred • Board certification for clinical degrees preferred
