📋 Description

• Perform audit functions to assess the CDI performance, identify knowledge gaps and assure compliance with all industry standards and departmental policies. • Oversee the auditing program to ensure accurate and compliant query practices. • Support coworkers as they work to meet CDI quality standards. • Analyze findings from reviews to identify trends that do not align with established policies and procedures and shares finding with CDI Education team for growth and development. • Act as a resource for the CDI staff on clinical and coding issues.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree Nursing or Healthcare related field - Required • 7 years Acute Care Nursing - Preferred • 3 years Direct CDI Experience - Required • Registered Nurse (RN) - State Licensing Board - Preferred • CDI Certification - Association of Clinical Documentation Integrity Specialists (ACDIS) - Required within 180 Days • Approachable and collaborative, with the ability to work effectively with providers and multidisciplinary teams - Required • Highly organized and detail-oriented; comfortable using Excel for CDI audits, tracking, and documentation - Required • Ability to independently research and apply CDI-related clinical guidelines, with a strong interest in continuous learning and education - Required
