📋 Description
• Identify accounts with credit balances • Research accounts to determine the nature of the credit balance for timely resolution • Prepare accounts for refunds to be processed and mailed in a timely manner • Communicate trends or patterns identifying inaccurate activity transpiring on patient’s account • Prioritize work to ensure the completion of assignments within assigned timeframes • Maintain follow-up procedures and working relationships with responsible areas
🎯 Requirements
• High School Diploma/GED • 1 year Patient Accounting experience, specifically billing, collections, customer service, or cash application
