📋 Description

• Perform professional and/or hospital billing and collection functions • Handle secondary collections, cash posting, accounts receivable resolution, adjustments, credit balance resolution, revenue enhancement, and cash flow activities • Manage a portfolio of accounts and adjudicate claims monthly • Execute revenue management activities for cost effectiveness and organizational efficiency • Coordinate activities with third-party payers and other revenue management functions • Communicate billing, insurance follow-up, cash flow, cash application, profitability, customer service, accounts receivable, and revenue management results to leadership and senior management • Participate in at least 60 hours of classroom training annually • Participate in strategic plan development when required • Develop, implement, and direct quality initiatives for continuous monitoring and process improvement • Perform departmental operating functions within predetermined limits and achieve operational efficiency and performance and quality targets • Analyze and report trends and issues to the supervisor and manager

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) (Required) • Associate's Degree (Preferred) • Minimum of 3 years of related work experience (Required) • Communication • Computer Literacy • Regulatory Environment - Financial Services • Teamwork • Must satisfy all job-specific obligations and comply with organization policies and procedures • Does not qualify for J-1 waiver
