• Teach and develop online clinical mental health courses covering counseling theories, assessment and testing, diagnosis, and treatment • Teach clinical courses and participate in Final Presentations • Maintain pedagogical and subject matter expertise • Create an inclusive and positive learning environment for diverse learners • Ensure course and program practices align with compliance and accreditation standards • Maintain a productive scholarship agenda and engage in scholarly activities • Participate in professional development and counseling organizations • Support accreditation reviews and improve CMHC program processes • Provide academic guidance and mentorship to CMHC students regarding training, placements, requirements, practicum, and career goals • Participate in student remediation processes • Review program materials for CACREP and state-standard compliance • Support data collection, analysis, evaluation, and report dissemination • Serve as faculty advisor and point of contact for student programming • Participate in administrative meetings and project teams • Report to the Department Chair and work with CMHC leadership • Complete other assigned tasks and projects
• Doctoral degree in Counselor Education and Supervision from a CACREP-accredited institution/program required • Licensed or license eligible as a professional counselor (LPC) required • Strong identification with professional counselor identity and evidence of such required • 2+ years of faculty experience in a CACREP accredited CMHC program and/or clinical training administration experience in a CACREP accredited CMHC program preferred • Experience with CACREP accreditation and compliance preferred • Experience teaching online courses in asynchronous format preferred • Experience working in a technology-driven enterprise preferred • Curriculum development experience preferred • Background check required • Ability to teach across various courses • Cover letter, curriculum vita, and statement of teaching experience required for full consideration
