• Teach public health courses and maintain pedagogical and subject matter expertise • Create an inclusive and positive learning environment for diverse learners • Support course and program practices aligned with compliance and accreditation standards • Adhere to National University’s academic integrity policy • Maintain a productive scholarship agenda suitable to a teaching or R2 university • Engage in scholarly activities for professional growth • Participate in professional development as outlined in faculty policies • Participate in curriculum oversight, shared governance, and the student experience • Serve on committees and engage in community activities promoting program outreach and university goals • Participate in program meetings and advisory boards to integrate best practices and strategic initiatives • Contribute to programmatic strategies supporting program quality, student engagement, and student success • Contribute to undergraduate and graduate public health programs
• Ph.D. or DrPH in public health, epidemiology, or related field from a CEPH-accredited program required • Online higher education experience required • Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining courses required • Experience working in a technology-driven enterprise required • CEPH programmatic accreditation experience required • Ability to work with a diverse student population required • Experience with non-traditional adult learners required • Strong knowledge of public health and/or healthcare administration disciplines preferred • Background check required • Travel required at least once annually to attend the annual Commencement ceremony (if held onsite) • Curriculum vita • Statement cover letter of teaching experience online and/or onsite for a diverse student body • Statement of research/scholarship experience
