📋 Description

• Direct the strategy, operations, and support for the accounting degree program • Serve as the primary spokesperson and source of information for program faculty and students • Initiate and approve changes to ensure program quality, student engagement, and success • Serve as the lead discipline expert and primary contact for multiple stakeholders • Collaborate with program faculty to support student success • Conduct program assessment with the Director of Assessment • Incorporate trends and changes into the curriculum with the Director of Curriculum • Participate in course development, updating, and maintenance • Meet with College leadership to align the program with University and College goals • Teach and develop online or onsite accounting courses • Maintain pedagogical and subject matter expertise • Create an inclusive learning environment for diverse adult learners • Ensure course and program practices align with compliance and accreditation standards • Maintain a productive scholarship agenda and engage in scholarly activities • Participate in professional development • Participate in curriculum oversight, shared governance, student experience, committees, program meetings, advisory boards, and community activities

🎯 Requirements

• Terminal degree (DBA, Ph.D.) in accounting or related discipline required • Certifications in accounting or a related field, e.g., CPA or CMA, required • 5+ years of full-time faculty higher education teaching experience required • 5+ years of practical experience required • Experience with the online delivery of higher education required • Experience in program and course development preferred • Background check required • Cover letter required • Curriculum vita required • Statement of teaching experience online and/or onsite for a diverse student body required
