📋 Description

• Support the Principal Investigator and research assistant on grant-related tasks • Identify and complete tasks contributing to project success under the PI's oversight • Collaborate with the PI and team members to identify tasks and strategize operations • Transcribe and code qualitative and quantitative data • Run basic statistical analyses • Contribute intellectually to project processes and outcomes • Assist with literature reviews for research and publishable documents • Complete documentation and paperwork as needed • Implement project tasks including coding surveys and interviews, transcription, editing, analysis, and storage of participant data • Use LLMs to develop automated tools for coding narratives • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in cognitive science, psychology, biology, or related fields • Experience with methods of experimental psychology and mixed methodological research approaches preferred but not required • Experience working in a technology-driven enterprise preferred • Skills in qualitative and quantitative data analysis using NVivo, SPSS, or other data analysis software • Skill in using LLMs for complex research and analytical tasks • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Critical-thinking and decision-making skills • Excellent organizational and communication skills • Ability to provide timely, accurate information on academically oriented subjects to internal and external constituents • Experience in healthcare settings preferred • Ability to work independently and as an active team member in diverse, fast-paced environments with multiple deadlines and changing priorities • Intermediate proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook • Experience using Student Information Systems such as SOAR/PeopleSoft • Must be an enrolled and attending student; eligible undergraduate or graduate students may be full-time or part-time • Must work no more than 1,000 hours per year in the student employee position
