• Form a key part of our growing outsourcing offering • Assist the senior management team in ensuring that our outsourced finance, VAT advisory and management reporting function meets and exceeds our client expectations • Support client decision making and enhance our outsourcing offering • Involve bookkeeping data entry preparation of management accounts to a high standard on our cloud-based systems • Work with our OMB/SME private companies on site, remotely or at our offices • Build and maintain good relationships with a wide range of clients • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within the client base • Process Sales and Purchase Orders • Preparation of VAT returns for a range of clients • Reconciliation of key balance sheet control accounts • VAT administrative duties including VAT registrations, de-registrations and other HMRC communications as necessary • Review, analysis and interpretation of the management information
• Possess a passion for accuracy and attention to detail • Possess excellent communication and planning skills • Demonstrate experience of working with a portfolio of clients • Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders • Be solution focussed with a client centred outlook • Have experience with cloud-based accountancy packages particularly Xero, SAGE, Quickbooks and Dext, Free Agent • Demonstrate knowledge in key VAT areas including DRC, land and property, partial exemption and international transactions • Have understanding with regards to CIS
