📋 Description

• Own the global Master Data Management data landscape and continuously assess and harmonize organizational data needs • Own the global Master Data Management systems landscape and lead teams and partners on landscape priorities • Lead and mentor associates within the Global Master Data Management organization • Ensure team members develop the technical and business skills needed to meet objectives • Maintain partner relationships and develop their MDM knowledge and process understanding • Establish and maintain metrics to drive process improvements across MDM domains and environments • Make independent decisions and present process and policy recommendations to DePuy Synthes Information Technologies leadership • Partner with internal teams on requirements definition and gathering for programs interfacing with enterprise data warehouses, enterprise data lakes, and business solution environments • Identify and resolve deficiencies in department systems and data capabilities • Develop and lead MDM systems improvement initiatives to increase efficiency or improve operational performance • Engage executive leaders, directors, and managers in planning and executing improvement efforts • Support functions in using MDM tools through content education, training, and tool development and enhancement • Communicate issues and opportunities to the next management level • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, federal, state, local, and company requirements • Scale the DePuy Synthes MDM ecosystem into a best-in-class medallion architecture supporting enterprise applications and AI environments • Ensure a high-quality data environment and enable data-driven community insights

🎯 Requirements

• BS or BA degree; MBA or MS listed as required • Minimum 10+ years of work experience required • Prior people management experience required • Experience creating Enterprise or Business-specific Master Data Management strategies supporting multifaceted data architecture, data governance frameworks, and AI data readiness • Track record of leading or mentoring teams to achieve quality and process improvements • Experience developing training materials and instructing others at all levels • Strong project/account management and testing strategy skills • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple initiatives in a dynamic environment with tight timelines • Proven success working with outsourcing partners and leading projects on time and on budget • Experience with Master Data Management, Supply Chain, R&D, Corporate, and Commercial Systems • Strong business acumen and technical skills • Strong organizational, communication, social, and interpersonal skills • Results-oriented problem-solving/resolution skills • Critical thinking skills • Ability to work in a matrix reporting structure and as part of a project team • Ability to work with senior management and exercise independent business judgment • Preferred: Analyst experience; call center support structure/process experience; process improvement tools such as SFE or LEAN/Six Sigma • Proficiency in query and report writing tools, Incentive Compensation Systems, and PC software such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Windows
