📋 Description

• Direct the region’s sales activities to meet annual growth and revenue objectives • Set sales targets and forecasts • Identify, hire, retain, and develop talent through proactive performance management • Develop strategies for launching new accounts and increasing penetration in existing accounts • Establish effective communications with executives and managers across the company • Lead difficult sales negotiations, especially with larger prospects • Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Regulatory, and Clinical Affairs • Partner with Marketing and Professional Education to develop value-added strategies, tools, programs, and services • Manage the sales and clinical teams for the assigned territory • Partner with the Region Clinical Manager to oversee and direct clinical consultant team members

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of work experience • 5+ years of high-performance experience in the MedTech space, with a high preference for cardiovascular experience • 7+ years of management experience of a field commercial team, or 3+ years of successful leadership in the Abiomed Associate Region Director role • Bachelor’s degree required • MBA preferred • Preferred background with diverse functional roles, such as sales training and field enablement • Proven track record of success managing a growing sales organization • Ability to gain cooperation of others and lead team members • Ability to negotiate and influence senior-level leaders and KOLs • Ability to exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results • Ability to travel up to 60% • Ability to conduct duties and responsibilities in accordance with all state and federal laws and regulations governing the medical device industry
