📋 Description

• Drive New Product Development, Product Enhancements, and Sustaining Engineering initiatives across a dedicated product line • Work closely with Product Design Managers and cross-functional teams to bring concepts to life • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and fellow designers • Monitor design projects to identify potential risks and adjust when necessary • Research and communicate with various departments to resolve gaps in design scope • Develop designs aligned with manufacturing capabilities • Retrieve and apply information from engineering standards, schematics, purchasing and manufacturing specifications • Prepare, release, and revise drawings and Bills of Material

🎯 Requirements

• Proficient knowledge of 3D design software (CREO) and general knowledge of 3D Design Intent Concepts • High level of mechanical design understanding • System or large assembly layouts • Sheet metal construction and DFM • Drawing creation and drawing best practices • PDM system-related file management processes • Ability to work with ambiguity regarding design specifications and resolve scope gaps • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and alignment of designs with manufacturing capabilities • Knowledge of design procedures, engineering standards, schematics, purchasing and manufacturing specifications for preparation, release and revision of drawings and Bills of Material • CREO experience • Technical/Associate Degree in Mechanical Design/Drafting with 2+ years of experience, or 5+ years of experience in lieu of a degree • Sheet metal, piping, and large assembly design • US Citizen and/or Permanent Resident of the United States
