• Assist in conducting patient intakes after counselor evaluation • Monitor patients’ clinical progress during regular group counseling sessions • Answer patient questions and manage medication dosing • Authorize patient prescriptions during monthly visits with patient panels • Complete notes and reporting in the Groups EMR system within required timelines • Cooperate with Recover Together to obtain and/or maintain admitting privileges • Complete and submit required applications and documentation • Provide accurate, current, and complete credentialing information • Participate in facility interviews, orientations, and follow-up requests • Maintain required licensure, certifications, qualifications, and hospital admitting privileges • Focus on medical management within Groups’ protocol-driven, technology-enabled clinical system
• Active, unencumbered MD/DO state license in Tennessee • Active, individual DEA with address listed in Tennessee • DEAX designation formerly required to prescribe Buprenorphine, or proof of 8 hours of qualified SAMHSA-assigned training • Minimum 1 year actively prescribing Buprenorphine • Maintain hospital admitting privileges at a TJC, DNV NIAHO, CIHQ, or ACHC accredited hospital • Active board certification (MD or DO; any specialty) • Eligibility for hours commences approximately 10–12 weeks after initiation of credentialing and training
