• Cultivate and manage relationships with existing donors, with an eye toward maintaining and growing their support • Identify new funding sources through prospect research • Plan and execute high-impact donor events that raise funds and expand J Street's network • Develop and steward 1+ chapters in your region, with an annual plan developed alongside chapter leaders • Create programming that makes chapters a genuine home for the broader J Street community • Identify, develop, and empower lay leaders in key cities across your region • Build relationships between J Street and rabbis, communal and political influentials, donors, and activists • Maintain accurate and current regional data
• A strong commitment to J Street's mission, including support for a secure, Jewish and democratic future for Israel and an active US role in resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict diplomatically • At least 4 years of relevant professional experience • Demonstrated ability to build and cultivate relationships with a wide range of community contacts • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly represent J Street's positions • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work both independently and as part of a team • Willingness to travel regionally; the NY/Florida role requires quarterly travel to Florida • Valid driver's license
