📋 Description

• Serve as the hands-on engineer in a Forward-Deployed Engineering pod embedded with priority customers • Own technical delivery from first prototype through stable production • Build customer-specific capabilities that can become durable platform capabilities • Consume Foundation team shared components and extend them for customer use cases without modifying the platform core • Deliver versioned, tested, platform-grade engineering artifacts • Author behavioral instructions, executable code, domain knowledge, tone, and jargon handling for AI skills • Register skills through the platform registry and pass mandatory evaluation gates • Wrap and register customer tools, APIs, and MCP servers with contracts and permissions • Bring integrations through the Foundation gateway and validate latency budgets • Design ground-truth evaluation scenarios and acceptance cases • Create ASR vocabulary-biasing assets and TTS pronunciation lexicons • Perform ongoing knowledge creation, behavior configuration, checkups, and production-feedback integration • Conduct customer discovery, architecture reviews, and technical collaboration with customer teams • Feed platform gaps and reusable patterns back to the Foundation team • Promote broadly useful customer skills into reusable foundation templates • Codify successful patterns into playbooks for future pods

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years in a technical, customer-facing engineering role • Production-quality coding and code review experience • Production experience with LLMs, including prompt engineering, agent development, RAG pipelines, tool/function calling, evaluation frameworks, and deployment at scale • Ability to author and evaluate AI skills as engineering artifacts • Experience building reusable integrations using external APIs, webhooks, and tools • Understanding of latency across distributed calls • Strong domain learning ability across unfamiliar industries • Discovery and engineering-requirements translation ability • Clear communication with engineers and non-technical stakeholders • Experience conducting architecture reviews and identifying risks • Ability to scope work, sequence delivery, and remove blockers • Preferred: MCP servers and agent frameworks experience • Preferred: speech/NLP pipeline background, including ASR vocabulary biasing or TTS pronunciation customization • Preferred: evaluation and observability tooling experience, such as DeepEval, Ragas, Langfuse, or Opik • Preferred: familiarity with real-time system constraints • Preferred: multi-tenant platform experience • Preferred: track record codifying patterns into tools, playbooks, runbooks, and reproducible benchmarks
