• Direct, manage, and evaluate student learning during clinical experiences at local healthcare facilities. • Facilitate the development of students’ nursing skills, standards of practice, and clinical reasoning skills. • Assist the students’ integration of theory and practice, specific to course learning outcomes, learning activities, and the level of the learner. • Observe and evaluate student performance regularly, providing constructive written and verbal feedback. • Maintain accurate records of student performance and clinical observations • Collaborate with course instructors on student learning activities, progress, and concerns. • Foster a positive learning environment through strong professional relationships with healthcare facility staff. • Serve as a role model, promoting professionalism, critical thinking, and ethical practice in nursing.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing and current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in New York State. • Master of Science in Nursing preferred. • Minimum of two years of clinical experience in relevant nursing specialties within the last five years; prior teaching or clinical supervision experience preferred. • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Commitment to student success and creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
