📋 Description
• Write and/or proofread Mandarin (simplified) audio description narration scripts for film and television content. • Meet deadlines determined by the DVW Project Manager and communicate issues that could impact script delivery. • Ensure AD scripts meet DVW and client quality standards. • QC/proofread AD scripts written by other writers. • Collaborate with other writers in a team environment. • Work remotely.
🎯 Requirements
• Commitment to accessibility and inclusion. • Native speaker of Mandarin. • Understanding of audio description guidelines and best practices. • Minimum of 1 year of proven Audio Description script writing or AD script QC. • Mastery of Mandarin written grammar and elements of style. • Good English comprehension. • Experience in media production, localization or copywriting a plus.
