📋 Description

• Design voice/data telecommunications cabling infrastructure, outside plant infrastructure, audio/visual systems, paging/mass notification systems, digital signage, card access security, CCTV security, video management, and video storage • Prepare engineering documents and equipment specifications within the contracted scope of work • Apply telecommunications, audio/visual, security, and networking principles • Maintain knowledge of applicable design standards • Develop estimates for assigned scope of work and ensure work remains within scope • Create project plans and schedules • Serve as project manager for complete technology-based projects when assigned • Actively manage assigned projects and drive them to completion • Delegate work, follow up, and personally execute work as needed • Support business development through proposal input and meetings with prospective and current customers • Provide work direction to team members and subcontractors • Approve final equipment selections and drawing submittals • Provide technical and engineering support to other departments and disciplines • Communicate and manage customer expectations internally and externally • Contribute to a collaborative team environment • Work may occur at construction sites with tough terrain • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Technical degree in or extensive experience with Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other applicable design and engineering fields • 8+ years of relevant technical design experience across a variety of healthcare facilities • Strong proficiency in low-voltage systems design in the core discipline • Knowledge and experience with industry Design Standards, including RCDD, TIA/EIA, CPTED, CPP, PSP, NEC, and NFPA • Expert knowledge of technology and the application of technology in business • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills • Ability to present complex information to diverse audiences, synthesize ideas into actionable recommendations, and positively influence outcomes • Strong planning, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities • May include up to 25% domestic travel • Preferred RCDD Certification and/or additional industry-recognized certifications are a plus • Proven ability to build strong client relationships and establish credibility with internal and external stakeholders • Basic understanding of Architectural, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, and Structural Engineering construction practices • Position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
