📋 Description

• Draft, edit, and review federal, corporate, and foundation grant applications • Conduct thorough research to identify federal grant opportunities aligned with organizational objectives • Distill complex information and data into compelling grant proposals • Manage grant-writing projects through planning, organization, execution, and timely completion • Contribute suggestions to improve proposal quality and streamline workflows • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather information and ensure coherence in applications • Multitask and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment • Automate workflows, document procedures, and refine processes to improve efficiency • Communicate professionally in writing and verbally, maintaining strong grammar and formatting • Use advanced computer skills and Microsoft Office applications to create grant proposals • Work independently with minimal supervision and coordinate team-member input as needed • Report to the Director of Operations

🎯 Requirements

• Proven track record in federal grant writing with demonstrated success in securing grant awards • Minimum 5–7 years of grant writing experience required, including writing and submitting funded federal grants • Strong analytical and deductive reasoning abilities • Exceptional attention to detail, execution, and follow-through • Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of tasks • Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders • Proficiency in written and verbal communication, English grammar, and formatting • Strong project management, multitasking, organizational, and adaptability skills • Aptitude for automating workflows, documenting processes, and continuously improving procedures • Experience with multiple technology and software platforms • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint • Proficiency with Teams and Zoom • Experience with Dropbox and Google Docs • Bachelor’s Degree in English or related field preferred but not required; advanced degrees preferred • GPC preferred, but not required • Must work full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM in the employee’s home time zone • Must reside in the USA; applicants outside the USA and applicants residing in California, Hawaii, New York, New Jersey, Washington State, North Dakota, Wyoming, Puerto Rico, or the US Virgin Islands are not eligible
