📋 Description

• Define and own the multi-year product strategy for Kin's policy platform and customer experience • Translate long-term business goals into a clear, sequenced roadmap • Lead, develop, and hire a team of product managers • Raise standards for product craft, analytical rigor, and cross-functional collaboration • Prioritize foundational platform work against customer-facing product work • Partner with engineering leadership on API strategy and configuration models • Enable new product launches and responses to regulatory changes • Drive the Home Hub into a customer product-management destination and marketplace • Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Actuarial, Underwriting, Finance, and Legal • Define domain success metrics and use them to guide roadmap decisions • Partner with engineering and data science leaders to embed AI-native workflows, automation, and intelligence • Establish platform roadmaps, configuration standards, API standards, and product strategies • Improve the speed of launching and maintaining products while reducing custom engineering effort • Build and develop the product management team and serve as a thought partner to engineering, design, and executive leadership

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years of professional experience • At least 8 years in software product management • At least 3 years managing and developing product manager teams • Proven ownership of both platform/infrastructure products and consumer-facing products • Experience with platform modernization or re-platforming at scale • Experience sequencing migrations without disrupting dependent teams • Technical fluency sufficient for architecture and data model discussions • Understanding of reliability, scalability, and regulatory compliance implications • Experience in Fintech, Insurtech, or financial services • Track record of building PM talent • Written and verbal communication for technical and executive audiences • Familiarity with insurance policy administration systems or consumer financial platforms is a bonus • Experience building or scaling a multi-sided product ecosystem is a bonus • Must be able to live and work full-time in one of the listed states, or in Ontario for remote technical positions located in Canada
