📋 Description

• Review carrier invoice and statement line items, including premiums, returned premiums, and commission credits • Verify commission percentages and correct errors • Prepare and post Account Current in AMS Company Center • Pay carriers for received premiums and process finance company payables and unearned commissions • Process return premium check requests, post transactions in AMS, and route approvals • Manage assigned agencies in the CP Weekly AR Ledger • Post payments, create AMS activities, and update ledger notes • Address older AP and AR items • Process urgent emails and create AMS360 activities/suspense records • Manage CP Inbox and branch folders for return premiums • Send remittance and payment emails to carriers and account managers • Attend weekly team and accounting meetings with camera on • In the absence of the CP Team Supervisor, monitor bank balances, resolve escalated issues, manage workflows, approve specified ACHs/check requests/EFTs under $50,000, and conduct weekly team meetings

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in the insurance industry is preferred • Working knowledge of insurance management systems such as AMS360, Epic, or Applied TAM is preferred • Ability to work independently and collaboratively • Self-motivated and driven • Ability to meet deadlines and maintain urgency • Effective written and verbal communication and active listening • Problem-solving with minimal assistance • Excellent time management and prioritization skills • Ability to handle sensitive or confidential information discreetly • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Minimum of three years of working experience in accounting • Excellent analytical skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office products • Advanced Excel skills required • Efficient operation of a 10-key pad • High school diploma or GED
