• Support the customer journey from application to funding • Provide an overview of Knock’s products and programs • Assist customers through successful closing • Gather required documentation for loan processing and underwriting • Obtain Initial Closing Disclosure signatures to meet on-time closings • Manage a pipeline consisting of 30 loan closings per month • Complete Patriot Act verification based on customer ID • Ensure minimum submission requirements and documents are met before submitting loans to processing • Assist team members with borrower requests • Issue initial disclosures and revised Loan Estimates compliantly within 24–48 hours of receiving a loan, using TRID knowledge • Request and review condo approval documents and ensure relevant questions are completed • Meet or exceed individual quotas and company metrics • Respond to internal stakeholders and external customers • Follow guides, job aids, and scripts to gather loan documentation and disclose loan files • Promote best-in-class customer service from lead to closing • Continually learn and expand mortgage origination knowledge • Take on ad-hoc projects and support the team as needed
• 1+ years of experience in mortgage operations and/or processing • Active NMLS license or ability to acquire an NMLS license within the first 90 days of hire • Experience using a LOS, Blend and/or Google Suite required • Comfortable with change and working in a fast-paced, startup environment • Team player and fantastic written and verbal communicator • Ability to review and interpret internal guidelines • Process oriented with a keen eye for detail • Belief in creating diverse, equitable, and inclusive practices and programs • Proven success working 100% remote in prior positions and experience working with a distributed, national team • High school diploma or equivalent • Able to set up and constantly operate a computer • Able to communicate and exchange accurate information via telephone or internet video applications • Able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
