📋 Description

• Establish a functional Data Governance literacy and adoption model • Develop role-based competencies, steward onboarding standards, training materials, communications coordination, governance curriculum, and practical guidance aligned to the enterprise data strategy • Work with North Dakota Information Technology (NDIT) to align with statewide data governance efforts, policies, and standards • Define role-based Data Governance competencies for owners, stewards, analysts, and business users • Develop the HHS Data Governance literacy framework aligned to the enterprise data strategy • Establish certification/onboarding standards and practical guidance for data stewards • Design a governance capability roadmap across divisions • Coordinate with communications and change management teams on Data Governance awareness and adoption • Develop tool proficiency guidance for glossaries, metadata, standards, and governance platform usage

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in Data Governance, data management, training, change enablement, or enterprise program adoption • Experience with Data Governance trainings, workshops, and the like • Experience developing governance onboarding, steward models, or literacy frameworks • Strong writing, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills • Ability to develop clear training, onboarding, and literacy materials • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences • Local hybrid candidates are preferred, but remote applicants will be considered • Cannot accept candidates requiring C2C or sponsorship for a work visa • Preferred: Experience with Health and Human Services, public sector, or large enterprise environments • Preferred: Experience developing data literacy, stewardship, governance, onboarding, or change enablement materials • Preferred: Familiarity with business glossaries, metadata, data standards, reporting, dashboards, or governance platforms
