📋 Description

• Develop detailed work orders in MP2 for planned preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance • Sequence tasks to minimize equipment downtime and use maintenance resources efficiently • Define job scope, tasks, tools, spare parts, specifications, and safety precautions • Modify existing or develop new preventive and predictive maintenance tasks • Review weekly backlog data and conduct meetings • Meet with mine mechanics, mine managers, and production owners to plan jobs • Use planning tools to determine parts, materials, rental equipment, and contractor support • Coordinate parts, rentals, and contractor needs and submit requisitions • Develop and update equipment Bills of Materials (BOMs) • Develop and field-validate Standard Maintenance Procedures (SMPs) • Notify contractors of safety training requirements and ensure they receive purchase orders before site arrival • Lead or participate in continuous improvement and root cause failure analysis • Coordinate maintenance activities to support efficient operation of mechanical systems and heavy equipment • Travel 50–75%, dependent on home location

🎯 Requirements

• Two years of experience as a scheduler and planner • Two years of experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) • Experience using Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook • Five years’ experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic in construction, forestry, or mining environments (preferred) • Three years of experience as Heavy Equipment Mechanic in an industrial, mining, military, or manufacturing environment (preferred) • Deep understanding of Caterpillar, Deere, Komatsu, Wirtgen, and Vermeer equipment (preferred) • Experience using Microsoft Excel to format cells, use formulas, and work with pivot tables (preferred) • Experience with precision maintenance techniques, lubrication sampling, and interpreting lubrication analysis results (preferred) • MP2 knowledge (preferred) • Ability to travel 50–75%, dependent on home location • Must successfully pass a drug test where required by state law • Employment is subject to E-Verify requirements
