• Provide enrolled Kolbe families with information about programs, enrollment options, course offerings, and requirements via phone, email, chat, and virtual presentations • Partner with parents to develop academic plans using Kolbe courses based on each student’s goals, abilities, and educational needs • Provide ongoing support and guidance regarding Kolbe’s curriculum, educational philosophy, instructional techniques, college preparation, and related topics • Review course registrations and requested course or program changes for prerequisite, graduation requirement, and academic standard compliance • Proactively communicate with families and students throughout the year • Monitor student academic progress, graduation progress, and long-term academic planning • Serve as accountability mentor for assigned students • Support students throughout the college application process • Collaborate with staff to provide coordinated family support and resources • Coordinate delivery of student records • Participate in advising-team initiatives and specialized or team leadership roles as needed • Manage a portfolio of assigned families as their primary contact
• Practicing Catholic willing to take an Oath of Fidelity to the Magisterium and make a Profession of Faith • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred, or relevant homeschooling experience • Part-time advisors maintain a consistent weekly schedule of 5 hours per day coordinated with the Advising Manager • Limited travel may occasionally be required • Strong preference for direct experience in the Kolbe program, particularly as Kolbe parents who have graduated students from Kolbe Academy • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional and pleasant phone demeanor • Ability to work independently while managing multiple responsibilities and deadlines • Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team • Comfort working across multiple technology platforms • Advanced computer proficiency preferred • Bilingual English/Spanish highly desired • Understanding of classical and/or Ignatian methodology preferred • Must be able to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis • Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time
