📋 Description

• Serves as the technical expert for Oracle database design, performance and security. • Diagnoses and resolves complex database and performance issues. • Reviews database designs, SQL and PL/SQL code for quality and efficiency. • Plans and supports database upgrades, migrations and consolidations. • Recommends standards, tools and best practices for Oracle environments. • Supports high availability and disaster recovery planning. • Mentors database administrators and developers. • Performs other duties as assigned.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field required. • 7+ years of Oracle database experience across administration and development. • Expert knowledge of Oracle architecture, SQL and PL/SQL. • Experience with performance tuning tools such as AWR, ASH and SQL Tuning Advisor. • Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard or similar high availability tools. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work independently in a remote environment. • Continually required to use common office equipment including but not limited to computers, phones, scanners and printers. • Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle Certified Master (OCM) preferred. • Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or AWS database services preferred. • Experience supporting federal government contracts preferred.
